CNC - 1week duration

GOAL

Exploring the possibilities of CNC technology.

Production of a comfortable aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture exploring the inherent properties of the material.

MATERIAL

15mm laminated pine plywood

​

PROCESS / CUTTING

Keeping material usage low while attaining the desired design.

We managed to nest our pieces in one sheet of plywood, leaving us with another sheet for further explorations.

​

CONSTRUCTION

We used a vaporizer to bring moisture to the wood and help us bend the plywood sheet.

​

ASSEMBLY

The assembly was easy and not much post-processing was required.

​
