If we only design what people already have or what they want, nothing new will ever emerge.

Architecture is much more than an art, or a science. It does not belong to a particular time or style but it is influenced by it, it is not a representation of political or social thoughts, but it somehow shows them. It is space and light and material, it is proportion and composition, it is "neither more, nor less than what is due".

It asks us to look again at the things that we often dismiss as commonplace and to ennoble the experience of the world. A continuous sequence of in-between realities: inside and outside, dark and light, public and private... a thoughtful joint.
